VISHU PORT LUCK LUNCH

This year's Vishu Port Luck was held in Radha chechi's house on 20th April 2008. About 120 people participated in this event.

We started off with a story telling by Rajen Nair on how Vishu is celebrated. See how his wife wakes him up in the morning.....walks him (with his eyes closed) to the alter to witness the Vishu Kani .....prayed to have a prosperous year ahead....then Jothi chechi's father gave Kaineedam to children below 12.

Then we continued with the sadhya.

Thanks to all our members, we had lots of authentic Kerala food.



After a sumptuous meal we continued with some entertainment by our local talent.
