HLMS FAMILY DAY PHOTOS

The trip was a success to get our community together for an outing. Many activities was arranged on the way and at the venue.

7.00am - We assembled at New Era College outside car park. Total 72 people joined this trip ( 58 Adult and 15 kids). We left at 7.45am.

Activities in the bus - Ice breaking session. Everyone has to introduce themselves and sing a Malayam song (other songs are also allowed).

9.30 Break at Rawang R&R. Jalaja Chechi, Dr. Jinu, Aruna Chechi, Bemala Chechi, Dr. Shuba and Gopal Etta's family brought sandwiches, muffins and Curry Puff. Thaiyalan Etta and Ravi Etta bought Chaya (Tea) for all of us.

Journey continued and we played "Who Wants To Win A Kit Kat" game. It is so much FUN. Dr. Sree has prepared the questions based on Slumdog Millionnaire movie. In Bus A, Rajan Nair conducted the game assisted by Preeta, Jothy Chechi and Saritha. My Team won....... and I got a Kit Kat.

As for the Bus B, I will update the story after checking with the members in that bus.

We reached Sg Klah hot spring at 11.00 am. The wheather was hot.
Unfortunately, we still have to carry on with our activities as planned earlier. We played the tele-match game and then took a break for lunch. After the lunch, we continued with Treasure Hunt game at the Hot Spring area. We need to find, ants, stones, hard boiled eggs (buy and cook ourselves), herbs and many more. After the game ended it was free & easy.

Most of them headed to the cool pool. After that, some went to the hot spring area to soak their feet. Some even soak the whole body in the hot spring pool. Tips: Never stay in a hot spring water for more than 30mins. Let me find out why. But through my experience, I can feel the blood rushed through my body and my BP going up.
By 5.15p.m we are all back at the lobby and had a group photo taken. We left at 5.45p.m

The traffic back to KL was very bad (well in was in the newspapers on the next day). PLUS closed some lanes for construction work. Our journey back was delayed by 4 hours. We should have reached Kajang by 7.45p.m but we reached at 11.30p.m. Luckily we had a Malayalam movie (CID Musa) shown in the bus for 3 hours and continued with songs by all our talented family members. Latha Chechi sang a few beautiful songs and Kanagama Aunty, Subathra Aunty, Gopi (Indra) Aunty and Mala Aunty also sang Malayalam songs especially the old and everlasting songs. Gopi Aunty even sang Japanese songs too. Ajay and his father sang Suranggani Song and Mero sang her award winning "Murderer" song. WOW ! so talented members in our community.

At the end of the trip we all had quality time together with our own family and the rest of Hulu Langat Malayalee families.

I will update more photos once I get them from Dr. Sree and Prasad Etta.
